US House Transportation Committee Field Events

February 12, 2011

Representative John Mica (R-Fl.), Chair of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, will host a series of listening sessions around the country, starting February 14, to engage new members of his committee and hear about transportation interests around the country. If you live near any of the listening session locations as identified the bottom of this message, please contact our partner, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC), to strategize to ensure that trails, walking and bicycling are represented in the discussion and to connect you with other local advocates.

These sessions organized by House Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman Mica and members of Congress from the host locations are in rough chronological order, starting in Beckley, W.V., on February 14 and proceeding during the next two weeks. Locations could change, but this is unlikely now that they have been formally announced.
