Job Creation is Just One of the Many Benefits of Pedestrian and Bicycle Infrastructure

The Baltimore case study finds these projects created nearly twice as many jobs per dollar spent than typical road projects.

According to a new report by the Political Economy Research Institute at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, building pedestrian projects, bike lanes and bike boulevards creates more jobs (per million dollars spent) than road repair and resurfacing projects.  Find the study here.
